  • 1/2 cup - Chicken Stock
  • 3 clove of garlic - Garlic
  • 1/8 cup - Cilantro, Raw, Coriander Leaves
  • 1 medium - Onions
  • 3 tbs - Ginger
  • 1350 g - Chicken Breast
  • 1.5 tsp - Kosher Salt
  • 1 cup - Coconut Milk
  • 1 tbs - Garam Masala

Slow-Cooker Butter Chicken

Preparation: 435 min

Heat medium saute pan over medium-high heat, add ghee once pan is hot. Then add the diced onion, minced garlic, minced ginger and garam masala. Stir until spices are fragrant and onions are beginning to brown. Add tomato paste and cook until slightly darker in color. Add salt.

Serve with cauliflower rice and top with cilantro!

Dice chicken into large 2” pieces and toss into the bottom of a 4 quart slow cooker, as well as the lime zest (optional), lime juice, coconut milk and chicken stock. Also add the onion and tomato paste mixture to the slow cooker. Mix together to combine. Then set slow cooker to low and cook for 7-8 hours until chicken is tender.
